She focused on communication between the insurance company, the employers, and the doctor, supporting a strong return to work philosophy. As part of her position, she also scheduled IMEs and second opinions while educating the physicians on workers' compensation. Prior to her ten years as the hub of communication with the orthopedic surgeons, she was a hospice nurse, owning her own business as a Licensed Nebraska Home Health Agency. Her experience gives her a first hand knowledge of the health care providers and employers in her local geographic area.
